Many of us have trouble catching Pokémon when it comes to actually throwing the darn Poké Ball. We throw it side ways, left, right, and off-screen. It can be annoying when you find a rare Pokémon and you mess up so many times that it runs away.
Well we’re here to help you throw it correctly. Please note that this guide is for Android only as iOS does not have a way to implement this. This guide was found on reddit. Here is what it will look like:
.) Open the Google Play Store and search for “Screen Overlays”. It should look like this:
.) Open the app and tap the 3 lines on top left.
.) Tap on Settings and enable “Active”.
.) Tap the 3 lines again and go back to overlays.
.) Tap the green circle with the + sign on the bottom left of your screen. You should now have “Overlay 1”
.) Once you tap it (not the icons underneath), you should get the following screen:
.) You can change the color and the opacity, but leave the rest as is. (Personally I set the opacity to full)
.) After that, tap on “set position” at the bottom of your screen.
.) On the next screen you have to move the sliders on the left until you get something like this:
.) Tap the back button on your phone (the app’s developer forgot to add one) and then pull down your notification area to disable the line (for now) by tapping the eye.
.) Go back to your home screen and open up Pokémon GO.
.) When you get into a Pokémon encounter just pull down your notification area again and enable the line by tapping the eye.
