So you want to be the very best, don’t you? Of course you do! You’re out there catching Pokémon, defending gyms, and leveling up but what else can you do to be the very best trainer? Well there’s a few helpful tools that you need.

First of all, there’s a way to figure out how likely it will be to catch a specific Pokémon using this calculator. Just enter the Pokémon you want to catch and what pokéball you want to use and it will tell you the probability. Also, it should be noted that there is no evidence that berries and “Nice Throws” have any impact on the likelihood of the catch. Between you and me, those berries never seem to help anyway.

According to Pokeassistant:

“This tool allows trainers to view catch chances of different Pokémon based on the ball they use and the colour of the ring they observe in-game. It’s probably not going to influence your decision making (you’re going to throw a ball at charazard whether you have 1% or 30% chance right?), but it is interesting to know the catch chances of different Pokémon and how the balls effect it. The colour of the rings in this tool match EXACTLY the colours in game thanks to some stunning research by u/dondon151.”

Another tool called Pidgey Spam will show you the number of transfers you need to make in order to best utilize your Lucky Eggs and get loads of XP.

So if you want to get the most points as possible with your Lucky Egg, first put in which Pokémon you want to evolve, how much candy you have, how many duplicates of the Pokémon you have, and whether or not you want to transfer the evolutions as you go. This tool will tell you just how many Pokémon you have to transfer before you use your Lucky Egg. Then it tells you what to do next to get the most XP and how much time you will have left over once you’re done evolving the Pokémon. This tool will really help you level up.

Lastly, if you want to know how much compat power (CP) your Pokémon will have once it’s evolved, use this tool. All you have to do is enter the Pokémon you want to evolve then enter it’s CP. Press the Evolve button and see how much CP you’re beautiful, newly evolved Pokémon will have. It will also show you the max CP each evolution of the Pokémon can have.
