Trainers Claim They Caught First Farfetch’d Outside of Asia in Central Park, New York

- in Rumors

There are so many trainers that claim they caught Pokémon that no one has ever seen before or Pokémon that have not been officially released by Niantic.  This trainer from Reddit (/r/TheSilphRoad) says he caught a Farfetch’d, but comes with some convincing testimony.

Apparently, he was in Central Park and multiple trainers around him caught it, not just him.  He has also stayed extremely active on the thread to answer questions from everybody who was grilling him for being a fraud.

The crazy thing about this is Farfetch’d has said to be locked in Asia only, so finding one in Central Park is pretty crazy.  The only other way you can get a Farfetch’d is hatching one of a 10km egg which is also pretty rare.

Here is the photo of the Farfetch’d he caught which he claims is someone else’s phone.  The fact that the picture isn’t a screen shot makes it much more convincing seeing how it would be hard to add in glare like that:

Farfetch’d just spawned in Central Park, New York — do not worry, I do not expect you to believe it but we will provide you with as much information and detail as possible.

Here are some of the skeptical comments he received on Reddit and his answers to them:

Obviously this is not enough evidence to confirm he caught one, but users on The Silph Road don’t usually play around.  Since he claims he will post more evidence, we shall see if it is true or not.

Let us know in the comments below if you think he is telling the truth or not.
